A previous engineering project of mine was a full engine rebuild on a Honda D16Y5 engine. One of the most engineering involved aspects of the rebuild was of the engine cylinder head. The process consisted of tasks like grinding valves, using engineers blue to check valve seats, and taking precise measurements of critical components such as hydraulic lifters, rockers, valves, and slide pins.
